Mercyful Fate is an influential Danish heavy metal group who are often cited

among the influences in the black metal, thrash metal, power metal, and

progressive metal genres



Nuns Have No Fun is the first album of Mercyful Fate. It is also known as

Mercyful Fate, the "first album" or the "EP". It is a four track, 45rpm effort

and was recorded and mixed at Stone Studio Roosendaal Netherlands in two

days in September of 1982 and released on Rave-On Records as RMLP-002.

The album is produced and mixed by Jac and engineered by Willem Steetjes.

The cover is drawn by Ole Poulsen. The album in its totality was later

re-issued as part of the The Beginning album.
